Pleasant Grove
Towing in Pleasant Grove, Dallas.
Pleasant Grove is southeast Dallas. Our base on Willow Glen Dr is on the south side of the city, and the drive over is a surface-street or I-20 run, not a trip from another county.
The roads
175, I-20, and Buckner do most of the work.
Pleasant Grove is tied together by US 175, C.F. Hawn Freeway, running northwest toward downtown and southeast out of the city. I-20 is the southern edge. Buckner Boulevard and Lake June Road are the commercial strips where a lot of breakdowns actually sit: a parking lot, a shoulder, a car that will not restart after an errand. Loop 12 is the west side of the area. If you are on 175, the direction and the last exit matter more than the neighborhood name, because the freeway is the same road for a long way on either side of Lake June.
The ground
Prairie Creek and low lots after rain.
Parts of southeast Dallas drain slowly. A car that left the pavement near Prairie Creek, or a truck that cut across a soft shoulder off 175, can be a winch job rather than a hookup. Say if the tires are in mud or if the car is still on asphalt. Apartment-complex lots along Lake June and Buckner are the other common scene: a car blocked in, a car with no room for a flatbed to tilt, or a garage under the building. The posted clearance, if you can see it, saves a truck that does not fit.
Honest distance
South Dallas to southeast Dallas is a real but short run.
We are at 1241 Willow Glen Dr, 75232. Pleasant Grove is east of that, across south Dallas, not across the metro. It is still not a truck parked at the Buckner and Lake June intersection waiting for your call. Nobody reputable has that in every neighborhood. What you get is the same 24-hour dispatch that covers Oak Cliff and the southern suburbs, and a drive that is shorter than the one to Plano or Alliance. If the car is in a dangerous spot on 175, lead with that. If it is in a driveway, the drive over is ordinary.
Same services
Tow, roadside, or a winch. One number.
Battery jumps, tire changes, fuel, lockouts, flatbeds, accident tows, and winch-outs are all on the Pleasant Grove call. You do not need a different company because the problem turned out to be a spare tire instead of a tow. Tell dispatch what the car is doing. A non-running car that rolls is simple. A car with a seized brake or no keys is still movable, and it needs different gear. Where it goes is your choice: a shop on Buckner, a house off Lake June, or somewhere else in Dallas. Have the address if you have picked one.
Common questions
Questions about this.
Do you sit in Pleasant Grove?
No. The base is 1241 Willow Glen Dr in south Dallas. Pleasant Grove is in the area we cover from there. The page says so because a lot of towing sites imply a yard in every neighborhood they name.
What should I tell you if I am on US 175?
Direction, the last exit or cross street, and whether you are on the main lanes, the shoulder, or a frontage road. That is the difference between a truck that finds you and a truck that passes you.
